What is it?

When starting the detailing process, we want a good hard hitting pre-wash that removes and loosens as much dirt and grime as possible from the vehicles paintwork so that we ensure we get a scratch-free wash when it comes to the contact wash stage.

This is where Arctic Storm Snow Foam comes into play.

With its thick foam it drags all the dirt and debris down the paintwork while loosening all dirt and grime making it easily rinsed away. You'll find that some snow foams on the market will go for style over substance, looking really foamy but not actually doing anything.

Artcic Storm Snow Foam brings both to the party.

Why use it?

The reason we want to be using Arctic Storm Snow Foam is to make sure we get our vehicle as clean as possible before applying any contact washing methods, as this ensures we get a scratch-free wash.

Pre-wash has got to be one of the most important steps when it comes to washing your car safely. If pre-wash isn’t used and we go straight in with our wash mitt on a dirty vehicle, we are going to be rubbing all of that dirt and debris that is sat on our vehicle into the paintwork causing nasty scratches and swirl marks which is not what we are looking for when detailing a car.

How to use it

Once you have thoroughly cleaned your wheels, tyres & arches it’s now time for the pre-wash stage. We recommend using our Almighty Power Pre-Wash prior to laying down Arctic Storm Snow Foam.

We do this to beef up our pre-wash stage, meaning even more dirt and debris will be removed from the vehicle prior to the contact wash. Once Almighty Power Pre-Wash has been applied to the whole vehicle we are then going to grab our Snow Foam Cannon and pour in just 100ml of Arctic Storm Snow Foam and then fill to the top with water.

Once your cannon is set up, give it a swill in a circular motion and a tip upside down and back up. Don't shake it as we don’t want Arctic Storm to foam inside the cannon, so a good swill will suffice. Make sure the knob on the top of your cannon is set to ‘+’ and your desired width of foam is set by turning the black nozzle.

Lay down a thick layer of foam making sure no area of the vehicle has been missed and let Arctic Storm Snow Foam dwell for around 2-3 minutes in a shaded area. If you are working in direct sunlight, leave no time to dwell and just rinse straight away.

And there we have it, a snow foam that looks cool, smells great, and unlike most others, actually cleans!

Grab yours in a 500ml, 2.5L or a 5L.

Until next time, I've been Matt, and that's detailing.
