Adding a grit guard to your detailing bucket will help trap dirt in the bottom of the bucket. This will prevent swirl marks and dirt clinging to your wash mitt which can cause scratches upon your next contact with the vehicle.
How To Use
Place the Car Gods Grit Guard securely into the bottom of your Car Gods 20L Detailing Bucket.
Fill the bucket with clean water or your chosen Car Gods shampoo solution, depending on your wash method.
During the contact wash, regularly rinse your Microfibre Wash Mitt in the bucket to release trapped dirt and grime.
Gently agitate the mitt against the Grit Guard where required to help dislodge contamination from the fibres.
Allow loosened dirt and grit to fall through the guard and settle at the bottom of the bucket.
Continue rinsing your mitt regularly throughout the wash to help prevent contamination being transferred back onto the paintwork.
After washing, empty the bucket, remove the Grit Guard and rinse both thoroughly with clean water.
For best results, use the Grit Guard as part of a two-bucket wash method – one bucket containing Car Gods Pure Shampoo and water for washing, and a second bucket of clean water for rinsing your wash mitt.
