Team Car Gods with Ciceley Motorsport is all set with a brand-new look for the 2022 British Touring Car Season. With the growth in sales of electric and hybrid vehicles fuelled by government pledges to "go-greener" the pressure is on motorsport to ensure it too keeps up with the changing trends. Not only have we adapted to these new technologies with our BMW 330i M Sports, but we have also given the pair of vehicles a sleek new look to enter 2022 with a thunderous bang.
New Faces, Fast Friends
Car Gods with Ciceley Motorsport’s assault on the 2022 Kwik Fit British Touring Car championship kicks into gear with the signing of BTCC support race front runner George Gamble, who will partner the teams experienced campaigner Adam Morgan in their pair of Car Gods backed BMW 330i M Sports for his debut season in the Championship.
George Gamble: “It’s fantastic that I am joining the Car Gods with Ciceley Motorsport Team for this season. Having raced on the support race package for a long time now I have always aspired to be in the main race, but equally felt it was important to be with the right team and in the right car. I am under no illusion that the racing will be a step up from what I am used to, the level in the Championship is so high and the racing so close, but I feel with the experience of the team and with a quick driver in Adam as my teammate, I can have a solid first season and have a good run at the Jack Sears Trophy title.”
Competing in his 11th season in BTCC, Adam Morgan is upbeat about the team’s prospects for the approaching campaign:
Adam Morgan: “It’s fantastic to have George join the team for this year, his pedigree in rear wheel driver machinery on the TOCA package is second to none, and after our first couple of meetings together he has fit straight into the team dynamic. With a learning year under our belts last season with the BMW’s, we are in a brilliant position this season to have a proper run at the title.”
Following an extensive pre-season testing programme for both drivers and the Car Gods with Ciceley Motorsport team, the 2022 BTCC season will get underway at Donington Park on 23/24 April.
